Wuyang Steel receives consecutive order of steel used to build Hongkong-Zhuhai-Macao bridge

It is reported that Hongkong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge manufacturer has confirmed to order 14,391 tons wide heavy plate from Wuyang Steel belonging to China's largest steel group HBIS with up to date totaling 26,900 tons from Wuyang Steel.

The in-construction Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge is a series of bridges and tunnels that will connect Hong Kong, Macau and Zhuhai, three major cities situated on the Pearl River Delta in southern China.

The proposed 50 km (31 mi) link is expected to cost US$10.7 billion with its length, and it would become one of the landmarks within the area.

The construction officially began on December 15th, 2009 and it is due for completion in 2016
